Open Sky welcomed over 45 volunteers from businesses in the Greater Moncton Area on June 13th for the United Way Day of Caring! While hospitality preparations were being made on the farm, the volunteers enjoyed a breakfast in Moncton, where they met Open Sky’s own Norm Hunter, who was invited to speak at this kickoff meal for over 900 members of the community participating in this annual event. We had an amazing day on October 5th, welcoming dozens of volunteers and friends to accomplish many building projects, food extravaganzas and gardening blitzes! Thanks for all the hard work, creativity and good spirits that made it such an achievement! The evening Kale Buffet, music and auction were also a blast, and many of us went home with some charming and attractive items.
